Every price on EmailMar is read by hand from the tool’s own pricing page. Here’s exactly how that works, how often it happens, and where the limits are.
Prices verified Jul 12, 2026across 15 tracked tools. This date only moves when we actually re-check every price.
What we check
For each tool, we open the official published pricing page and record the cheapest monthly-billed plan that covers a given number of contacts. Every price in the 15-tool dataset comes from that page on that date — not from a sales call, a press release, or a third-party summary.
The basis: monthly billing, USD, cheapest tier
“Price at N contacts” means the cheapest published plan billed monthly, in USD, that covers at least N contacts. We don’t use annual-discount pricing, regional pricing, or promotional first-month rates — those numbers move too often and aren’t comparable across tools.
Most tools price by contact count, so the published tier breakpoints map directly. A few tools (Brevo is the clearest example) price by email-sending volume instead of contact count. For those, we normalize to an assumed four sends per contact per month, stated on the tool’s profile, so every tool in the index can be compared at the same list sizes. That assumption is a stated estimate, not a guarantee of what any one sender will pay.
Verification cycle: monthly
We re-check every tool’s pricing page once a month. The “prices verified” date at the top of the Price Index and on every tool profile only moves when that full re-check has actually happened — it is not a rolling date and it does not update on page load. If a tool changes its pricing mid-cycle and we catch it, we update that tool’s lastVerified date independently and note it.
What we don’t do (yet)
We do not run deliverability lab tests. We haven’t sent seed-list campaigns, measured inbox placement, or scored spam-filter behavior for any tool — so you won’t find deliverability grades anywhere on the site. Any claim about deliverability that isn’t backed by a real test would be a fake test score, and we don’t publish those.
Beyond published-price verification, we don’t claim to have “tested” a tool’s features. Feature fields (automation, API access, landing pages, and so on) are read from the same official pricing and feature pages as the price data, not from hands-on product trials.
Corrections
Pricing pages change without notice, and we’re one person checking 15 tools by hand — mistakes happen. If you spot a stale or wrong number, email info@emailmar.com with the tool name and what changed. Verified corrections get fixed and the affected tool’s lastVerified date is updated the same day.
In short
One rule: only claim what’s true.
Every price is hand-checked against an official source, re-verified monthly, and dated. Anything we haven’t actually tested — like deliverability — doesn’t get a score.
